Burnout Prevention and Stress Reduction Coaching, Training & Workshops
According to a recent report and the American Institute of Stress , "80% of workers feel stress on the job, nearly half say they need help in learning how to manage stress and 42% say their coworkers need such help." While doing more with less seems to be a norm these days, too much stress in the workplace can effect productivity, morale, and absenteeism.
Do you, your employees or colleagues feel stressed, exhausted or chronically overwhelmed? I can help!
I can coach your employees who are on the brink of burnout to cope with and reduce stress in order to increase efficiency and productivity. I will help your employees set goals, create better habits and arm them with tools that will help them develop personally and professionally.
In turn, preventing burnout and increasing employee well-being can help decrease costs by positively impacting turnover, absenteeism and presenteeism.
Happier employees are more motivated and can better contribute to the success of your organization.
I also offer in-person or virtual workshops for your employees on burnout prevention and stress reduction so that your organization can thrive. For example, imagine participating in a 6-week class based on Yale University's Coping with Work and Family Stress* program. Your employees will learn practical ways to reduce stress that can be implemented right away.
In these interactive workshops, your staff will learn:
Ways to reduce and prevent unnecessary stress
Tried and true methods of applying effective and practical coping strategies to deal with stressors
The value of becoming more aware and mindful of your thoughts and behavior
Ways to monitor negative self-talk which effects self-esteem
.
I also offer workshops based on positive mental health and goal setting.
In addition to being a certified coach and health educator, I hold a Master's degree in Public Health from Emory University with an emphasis on prevention and mental health. I am also in the process of studying Organizational Psychology through the City University of New York. For highlights of my professional background and credentials, visit my biography page.

Nancie's class was an oasis in an otherwise noisy digital world. Her stress management techniques are invaluable, as she shows how to eliminate the clutter in our day-to-day lives. Thanks to her, I've been able to control my stress, and put my life more in perspective. I clearly see the world differently now. ~ Randy F. (6-Week Stress Reduction Class Participant)
*This class is based on a 16-week class that is evidence-based (i.e., proven!) intervention from Yale University. I have been certified to facilitate the program, and I combine coaching in order to be sure that each participant benefits.
